The Embassy of St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela wasopened for business in September 2012, to provide diplomatic and consular representation for St. Vincent and the Grenadines in Venezuela and in the other South American countries to which the Ambassador is accredited, as non-resident Ambassador.

Among its objectives are the development and strengthening of bilateral relations at the political, economic and cultural levels with selected South American countries; actively strengthening relations at the multilateral level within the framework of hemispheric mechanisms such as  the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of our America- Peoples Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), the PETROCARIBE Agreement and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC)and;  serving as a focal pointfor promoting St. Vincent and the Grenadines  in South America    as a sovereign, independent and viable nation state with which to do business.

The Embassy has a permanent staff complement of four persons, two of whom, the Ambassador and the Minister Counsellor comprise the professional staff and two support staff, the Administrative Secretary and the Chauffeur, who are citizens of Venezuela.
